The story of FlowHow®
From its start as part of NKT Research in 1994 to today as a recognised Moldex3D partner and adviser to the Scandinavian plastics industry.
Founded by NKT Research
FlowHow® ApS is founded by NKT Research with a focus on plastics consulting and injection moulding simulation. The company is established to bring advanced simulation technology into the Danish plastics industry.
Independent company
After the dot-com crash, FlowHow® is separated from NKT Research. On 1 May 2002, Peer Guldbrandsen takes over the company and makes Moldex3D simulation software its core product. A new era begins.
Growth and specialisation
During this period, long computation times, expensive hardware and cumbersome work routines are significantly reduced. The focus increasingly shifts from the simulation technique itself to optimising products and processes. At the same time, FlowHow® strengthens its position as a Moldex3D partner in Scandinavia.
Mads Jespersen joins as a partner
On 1 October 2015, Mads Jespersen joins FlowHow® as a partner. He comes from a position at LEGO, where for 18 years he worked with product development and simulation. With his extensive experience, Mads helps further strengthen FlowHow®'s expertise and market position.
Authorised partner since 2002
Today, FlowHow® is a recognised, authorised Moldex3D partner with more than 25 years of experience in simulation and plastics development. We serve customers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, the United Kingdom and Ireland, and work with many of Scandinavia's leading plastics companies.
